The Arickaree track and field athletes had some point-scoring efforts last Thursday at the Wray Dick Evans Invitational. Austin Wright won the discus with a distance of 138-foot-9. Zarron Skubal was seventh in the triple jump with a distance of 37-2.5. On the girls side, McKenna Jesse cleared 4-2 to place eighth in the high jump.

In 2020, the News-Reporter began organizing Cruise Nights as a way to interact safely and socially distanced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
