Collision on Briley Parkway Claims Decaturville Man
The motorcyclist killed in Sunday’s 3:45 p.m. collision on Briley Parkway near Dickerson Pike is identified as Donald Armstrong, 77, of Decaturville, Tennessee. The preliminary investigation shows that the driver of a 2019 Infiniti was traveling westbound on Briley Parkway approaching the on-ramp from Dickerson Pike onto Briley Parkway when, according to witnesses, Armstrong accelerated up the ramp to enter Briley Parkway and struck the passenger side of the Infiniti.

CCHS Eagles Soccer falls to Lexington Tigers Soccer
The Chester County Eagles fought in a physically tough game against Lexington on April 23, but could not win it. The Eagles controlled the first half with a score by Chris WIlger who almost scored another one at the end of the half. Unfortunately, Lexington had better control in the second half and scored three times while the Eagles could not manage to get the ball in the net with a few close kicks and a close header. The final score was Lexington 3 and CCHS 1. The loss puts the Eagles behind Lexington in the district ranking to the second seed.
