Last month, Lexington Park resident Joseph Matthew Queen III, 30, and Terrance Lamar Barnes, 29, who has no fixed address, were arrested following a pair of search and seizures in the county.

On Tuesday, the agency announced that Felicia Eve Lopez, 29, and Dana Marie Royster, 39, both of Lexington Park, have also been arrested and charged in connection to the February case.

Officials said that on Friday, Feb. 23, deputies from the sheriff's office first responded to a residence in the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, where they recovered suspected Fentanyl/xylazine mix, crack cocaine, cocaine, cash, loaded handguns, and possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS) manufacturing paraphernalia.

Officials say that there was a second search in the 45000 block of Oregon Way in Great Mills, where they also seized methamphetamine, various controlled medications, cash, and another loaded handgun.

Investigators noted at the time that two of the three handguns had been reported stolen.

Barnes and Queen were initially arrested and charged with:

  • Two counts of possession with intent to distribute;
  • Firearm possession during a drug trafficking crime;
  • Possession of equipment to produce CDS;
  • Manufacturing of CDS: Narcotics, and related crimes.

On Tuesday, officials announced that the investigation led to new charges that include firearm and drug trafficking offenses, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and fentanyl, possession of production equipment and reckless and endangerment of a minor for leaving cocaine and fentanyl where it could be accessed by a minor.

Lopez was charged with distribution of narcotics, reckless endangerment, and neglect of a minor. Royster was charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute and obstruction or hindering.

All four are being held at the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown.
