Spectrum Athlete of The Week Audrey Holm (Paxton)
PAXTON, Neb. (KNOP) - Paxton senior Audrey Holm has been on a tear in both the shot put and discus the past couple weeks. The multiple state qualifier seems on her way to another trip to Omaha for state competition. This past week Audrey claimed the Best of the Midwest title in the discus along with winning titles in the shot and discus at the Leyton Invite.

Velvet Spurs announce Horseback Poker Run for this weekend is cancelled
Ogallala, Neb. - The Velvet Spurs All-Womens Horseback riding club has announced that the Horseback Poker Run for this Saturday at Ash Hollow has been cancelled. The cancellation is due to weather conditions heading into Saturday that could possibly make the trails wet. The poker run was supposed to take place last weekend but was postponed due to weather.
