Lee County deputies investigate late-night stabbing in Smiths Station
Lee County deputies are investigating a late Wednesday night stabbing that occurred just outside of Smiths Station city limits. Deputies responded to an assault call just before 11 P.M. CDT on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in the 1700 block of Lee Road 249 and found a 38-year-old male who had suffered stab wound.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate Kahlani Baggage (black/female 2years of age) and Isaiah Atkins (black/male 5 months). The children were last seen in the 800 Block of Zellars Court located in Auburn, Alabama on December 4, 2023. The children are believed to be in the care of their mother, Lilliana Olivia Atkins (20 of Warner Robbins, GA) and her boyfriend Trenton Rashad Jones (21 of Auburn).
