Softball Game Recap: Tunkhannock Takes a Loss
It was a good run, but Tunkhannock unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Williamsport Millionaires. Tunkhannock was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Williamsport apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
Endicott Man Charged in Tioga County After Shooting Animal in Head
An Endicott man is facing charges in Tioga County after the sheriff's office says he shot an animal in the head. According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Jeffrey W. Wike was arrested and charged with Aggravated Cruelty to Animals and Criminal Mischief after an investigation into an incident in which Wike shot a companion animal in the head with a firearm.
