From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, the pavilion at The Lake Gaston Flea Market was full of shoppers seeking deals on merchandise at the annual Ladies of the Lake Cancer Support Team Yard Sale. Proceeds from the event assist cancer patients in the five Lake Gaston counties.

(WWBT) - After more than a year of waiting, a Henrico homeowner has brand new siding after her home was damaged by hail in April 2023. “On April 1st of 2023, this whole neighborhood had a huge hailstorm. I mean, it was hitting my windows. I thought it was going bust the windows,” explained Brenda Harless. “About 10 days [later], there was a gentleman canvasing the neighborhood, and he knocked on my door and identified himself and he worked for Noryab Construction, and that he was coming to the neighborhood because they knew that damage had occurred over here.”
