7th Safe Haven Baby Box to open in Tennessee
LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WSMV) – Tennessee’s seventh Safe Haven Baby Box is set to open on Tuesday in Lawrenceburg. Safe Haven Baby Boxes serve as a way for mothers to surrender their babies to authorities safely. Mothers can contact Safe Haven to alert them they’ve placed their baby inside the box for surrender and local authorities and child welfare agencies take care of the rest.
