UNION, Miss. (WTOK) - The Union Police Department is warning the community of a man with a foreign accent calling and stating he works with Homeland Security. The department says the man is telling people that they have a warrant for their arrest. UPD says when the scammer calls, the caller ID reads “Union Police Department.”

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - One person was killed and another person injured when their truck was hit by a train in Talladega County May 5. Breana N. Fontenot, 20, died when the Ford F-150 she was a passenger in was hit by the train. The driver of the truck, Grant D. Conner, 26, of Bay Springs, Mississippi was injured and taken to a hospital.
