Suspect wanted in connection with deadly shooting inside Massachusetts nightclub

LAWRENCE, Mass. (WWLP) – A suspect is wanted by U.S. Marshals in connection with a homicide inside a nightclub in Lawrence.

According to the Lawrence Police Department, a shooting was reported at around 12:20 a.m. on Christmas Eve 2023 at Energy Lounge. A 29-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he died due to his injuries.

The U.S. Marshals issued a wanted poster on Tuesday of the suspect, 27-year-old Franklin Laras , who is considered armed and dangerous. Laras is described as a white man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5’7″ tall and weighs 190 pounds with tattoos on his chest and arms.
