Lawrence police locates man after escaping treatment center

UPDATE – Lawrence Police provided an update that Curtis Lowder has been found.

LAWRENCE, Ind. — Lawrence police are searching for a man in need of “immediate” medical attention after he escaped a treatment center Thursday.

LPD has requested the public’s assistance in finding 27-year-old Curtis Lowder, described as a 5’10” white male weighing 145 pounds. Lowder is believed to be in serious danger and likely requires urgent medical attention, LPD said.

LPD said Lowder was last seen at Options Treatment Center, which is located at 5602 N. Caito Drive, where he reportedly escaped while being admitted into the facility. Lowder may have left the facility wearing nothing but a hospital gown and socks, according to LPD.
