Unidentified Andalusia man killed in Florida car wreck
WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WTVY) - An Andalusia man died on Wednesday after being involved in a three-vehicle car wreck, the Florida Highway Patrol Office said in a release. Reports show the 38-year-old man was driving a sedan-type vehicle. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
As storm cleanup nears an end, Crestview will return to normal yard-waste schedule Monday
CRESTVIEW — A month after severe weather hammered the Crestview area, city officials say yard waste pickup will return to pre-storm schedules on Monday. Crews from the Crestview and Adams Sanitation have collected more than 9,000 cubic yards of debris since clean-up began. Officials also estimated that 15% of the debris from that storm has yet to be collected.

Okaloosa County OK's $2 million in surtax funds for SR 85 Relief Project
CRESTVIEW — The Okaloosa County Commission approved $2 million in surtax funds Tuesday to buy additional property for the State Road 85 Crestview Evening Relief Project. On Jan 16, the board approved a grant application to the Florida Department of Transportation for the Transportation Regional Incentive Program. The $1.6 million grant will fund the SR 85 Crestview Evening Relief Project, which aims to add a third northbound lane between Live Oak Church Road and P.J. Adams, increasing vehicle capacity into Crestview.
