For prospects, getting drafted into the NFL is a dream come true and when that call comes, players can be understandably overwhelmed with emotion, especially if they were waiting a long time to get that call like Las Vegas Raiders seventh-round pick and safety, M.J. Devonshire, was.

Devonshire, who played his college ball at Pittsburgh and was the Raiders' last pick in the 2024 NFL Draft at No. 229 overall, got his call on Saturday, briefly speaking with both general manager Tom Telesco and head coach Antonio Pierce.

And he was overcome with emotion upon knowing that he was going to be a Las Vegas Raider. Check out the video of the moment he found out he was going to be drafted below, but make sure you have a tissue ready. This one will get you right in the feels.

    I'm not crying, you're crying!

Lost in the sauce of draft needs, grades and everything else that comes along with the three-day event is the fact that these players are fulfilling their lifelong dream when getting drafted, even if they never play a snap in the NFL.

Now, it'll be up to Devonshire to keep it going and fulfill his next goal: making the roster and eventually playing in an actual NFL game.
