I said “No, I hadn't seen him since he left the house early this morning.” And she says “Well, I just talked to a coworker, and apparently he's dummy and a hero all at the same time”. And I said “Well, what do you mean?” And she told me. She didn't have a whole lot of detail, but that she knew that there was a fight that he was involved in at the gas station. Well, I'm only about two miles from that gas station, so I jumped in my truck and went down to the gas station and calling Canaan every step of the way, and he wasn't answering.
