To The Point: Aid package to Ukraine, what’s next in Lansing

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This week on “To The Point,” we’ll talk about the new aid package to Ukraine and what is next for the state Legislature.

U.S. Rep. Hillary Scholten, D-Grand Rapids, was in Muskegon and talked about that new funding for Ukraine.

“We recognized that this was a huge wait, not only for supporting Ukraine in and of itself, but what it meant for Putin’s continued march across Europe. I’m so proud that we were able to get that done and in the way that we were able to get it done,” she said.

Plus, state Rep. Nancy DeBoer, R-Holland, talks about more accountability when it comes to the state’s economic investments on this “To The Point” episode for the weekend of April 27.
