Man drowns at Bull Shoals
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Patrol Division has confirmed the identity of a man that drowned in Bull Shoals Lake Tuesday, May 7. Larry Dilday, 75, of Forsyth was fishing from the bank and fell into the water near the mouth of Swan Creek. Dilday was pronounced deceased on the scene at 2:44 p.m. when authorities arrived.
Smith withdraws from Taney assessor race
A candidate has withdrawn from the Republican primary for the Taney County Assessor’s nomination. Taney County Clerk Stephanie Spencer confirmed to Branson Tri-Lakes News Joshua Smith filed paperwork on Friday, April 26, to officially withdraw from the race.
