Hundreds of semi-truck drivers compete in Missouri Truck Driving Championship in Branson
BRANSON, Mo. (KY3) - If you are in Branson this weekend, you’ll probably hear the roar of diesel engines coming from the Hilton Branson Convention Center on the Landing. It’s because of the 56th Missouri Truck Driving Championship that continues through Saturday. 200 professional drivers will take their experience from the road and put their skills to the test in an obstacle course over eight different classes of vehicles.

Branson aldermen create litigation department
The Branson Board of Aldermen have voted to expand and diversify the city’s legal department. The alderman passed a measure which provided a budget adjustment to the city’s general fund to allow up to $250,000 to be designated for the creation and operation of a litigation department. This would allow the city to have an in-house member of the city’s legal department who has expertise in litigation.
