Polk County to host ‘Adoptapalooza,’ free pet adoptions
POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Polk County Animal Control announced it is hosting Adoptapalooza, a free pet adoption event. Lake Wales Police Department Distinguished Service Award
This week, Sergeant Cory Bowling and K-9 Officer Ted Sealey with the Lakeland Police Department’s K-9 Unit were presented with the Lake Wales Police Department’s Distinguished Service Award. Both officers were instrumental in the training of the Lake Wales Police Department's new K-9 Officers, Bane and Bolo. The K-9 Team underwent over 880 hours of training thanks to the Lakeland Police Department's K-9 Academy. Lakeland Police Department’s Captain Tye Thompson accepted the award on behalf of Ted Sealey.
