Police Investigate Shooting Incident
GREENVILLE, Miss. – The Greenville Police Department swiftly responded to a report of gunshots in the 1200 block of Fairview Street on Friday afternoon, May 19. Authorities received the call shortly after 1 p.m., prompting officers to rush to the scene. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a 20-year-old African American male who appeared to have sustained gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Delta Health Systems for medical attention. Presently, there is no updated information regarding his condition. However, police have confirmed that their investigation into the reported shooting is currently ongoing.
Greenville Police Investigate Homicide
The Greenville Police Department (GPD) is actively working to piece together the details surrounding the city’s most recent homicide. Responding to reports of a shooting, officers swiftly arrived at the scene located at the intersection of Broadway and Union. Tragically, a 24-year-old African American male victim had sustained gunshot wounds and was swiftly transported to the Delta Health System’s Emergency Room.
