The Tallulah community breaks ground on Tallulah Academy reconstruction
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Monday morning, marked a significant milestone for Tallulah Academy Delta Christian as the community came together to break ground on a $5.3 million project aimed at reconstructing parts of the school ravaged by a tornado over two years ago. Devastated by an EF-2 tornado on March 30, 2022, the school’s high school building and gym were left in ruins, prompting a lengthy period of displacement and temporary facilities.
