Pet store plans to open first Oregon location in Lake Oswego

A new store to buy food, other necessities and goodies for your pet has set up shop in Lake Oswego.

Pet Evolution is slated to open its first Oregon location at 16889 SW 65th Avenue in the South Lake Shopping Center in Lake Oswego this August, according to a press release. The company also plans to open 18 other Oregon locations.

According to its website, Pet Evolution prides itself on providing healthy pet foods and educating customers while also helping clients with dental care, grooming and more. The Lake Oswego store will be 4,000 square feet.

“We know Oregon pet parents want to do the very best for their pets, especially when it comes to feeding them nutritious organic food and treats and supporting their health and wellness needs,” said Peter Carlson, president of Pet Evolution Franchising, LLC. “George and Diane (regional developers) have a passion and experience that is unmatched for expanding Pet Evolution and bringing our mission to Oregon starting with the first store in Lake Oswego.”

The company first opened in Minnesota and also has locations in California, Texas and Washington, with plans to expand elsewhere.
