Greene County man charged with DWI after crash
An Athens, Greene County man is accused of driving while intoxicated and crashing his vehicle on Saturday. Eric Helmedach, 59, of Athens, was found after a crash in the northbound off-ramp of Exit 21 of the Northway in Lake George, just before 8:30 Saturday evening, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Queensbury sting leads to drug charges for Brooklyn man
A Brooklyn man is accused of selling crack cocaine to an undercover officer. Rashad D. Harvey, 33, also allegedly had over 200 grams packaged for sale in a room at a Queensbury hotel where he was staying, along with equipment consistent with a drug sales operation, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Glens Falls man convicted on robbery charges, ankle bracelet seals his fate
WARREN COUNTY, N.Y. (WRGB) — A Glens Falls man was convicted on three felony charges in January 2023, Warren County District Attorney Jason Carusone announced on Monday. Joshua M. Heym, 28, was convicted of two counts of second-degree robbery and one count of attempted second-degree robbery after a nine-day trial before Warren County Judge Robert Smith on Friday, May 31, 2024. The charges stemmed from incidents in Glens Falls from Jan.10 to Jan.12, 2023, where Heym pointed a black handgun at the victims for robbery. A small amount of cash was stolen during each incident.
