Florence County deputies search home in connection to deadly Lake City shooting

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Florence County authorities searched a home in Lake City Wednesday afternoon in connection to a deadly shooting that occurred last week, Sheriff T.J. Joye said.

The shooting happened on Ray Street, and the man’s body was found on Patty Road in Williamsburg County, Joye said.

Authorities have not said how the man’s body ended up in Williamsburg County after the shooting. No additional details were immediately available.
