Wesley Chapel Chase Ends in Arrest for Stalking, Strangulation Suspect
WESLEY CHAPEL, FLa: Pasco County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a suspect Friday morning following a chase near Cypress Ridge Blvd. and Willow Oak Dr. in Wesley Chapel. The suspect, who was wanted for aggravated stalking and battery by strangulation, fled from a traffic stop and led deputies on a brief pursuit before being apprehended on foot. There is no threat to public safety and the investigation is ongoing.
Pennsylvania man turns violent during strange outburst at McDonald’s
A Pennsylvania man was arrested after he allegedly punched a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy and an ambulance crew member during a strange outburst at McDonald’s. Travis Nathan Turner, 44, of Wayne, Pa. was at the McDonald’s in Bushnell at about 7 p.m. Wednesday when he was lying on the floor, crying and asking for someone to call an ambulance, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Villager IDs son as theft suspect caught on surveillance at Walmart
A Villager identified his son as a theft suspect caught on surveillance at a local Walmart. The 85-year-old Village of Santo Domingo resident confirmed that his son, 59-year-old Bryan Bybee, was caught on surveillance in connection with the theft of merchandise May 3 at the Walmart at Sarasota Plaza, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. A deputy went to the home for confirmation of the identity of the suspect.
