Multiple dogs evacuated as Rockville Fire burns close to daycare facility
ROCKVILLE, Utah (KUTV) — A dog daycare in Rockville, Utah, was asked to evacuate after a human-caused wildfire began burning dangerously close. The fire, first reported Friday, had grown quickly in the hours since it sparked, quickly growing to 30 acres and threatening nearby structures - one of which was Canyon Paws, a dog daycare located near the town's eastern border.
Single-vehicle rollover on Red Hills Parkway leaves 2 hospitalized
ST. GEORGE — Two passengers were transported to St. George Regional Hospital after veering into the median and rolling the vehicle they were traveling in, police said. Travel advisory: Downed power line causes outage in Leeds, closes access to I-15 exit into town
ST. GEORGE — Access from northbound Interstate 15 into Leeds at Exit 22 has been closed due to a downed power line. According to the Leeds Town Facebook page, a vehicle accident in the area damaged a power line and Rocky Mountain Power has initiated an outage from 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. so work crews can fix the problem.
