In surveillance still released by the police, the suspect can be seen loaded with goods, blatantly walking out of the store without attempting to make a payment. The police have appealed to the public for assistance in identifying the shoplifting suspect.

Early morning theft shook North Park when a male suspect brandished a firearm in a Speedway gas station on University Avenue, fleeing with a wad of cash. In an incident logged at 2:50 AM by SDPD Watch Commander Officer D. O'Brien, the suspect reportedly approached the counter, coerced the clerk's assistance with the register, and escaped on foot heading eastward upon securing an undisclosed amount of bills. The clerk, thankfully, remained unharmed during the brazen robbery.
