Transformer failure causes power outages in Buckner, officials say
BUCKNER, Ky. — Approximately 1,400 people were in the dark in Buckner, Ky. Monday morning after a major power outage, according to LG&E's power outage map. The outage began at about 7 a.m. According to Oldham County Office of Emergency Management, the outage was caused by a transformer failure.
