Fire damages double-block home in Carbon County
LANSFORD, Pa. — A fire damaged a double-block house in Carbon County Wednesday afternoon. Crews were called to a double-block house on East Abbott Street in Lansford around 5:30 p.m. One side of the home was empty and heavily damaged. One woman was inside the other half of the home at the time with only smoke damage on the interior.
Pocono Township Police Department to host Coffee with a Cop on Saturday

Police arrest 2 suspected of passing thousands in fake $100 bills
MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – Whitehall police arrested two men suspected of passing thousands of dollars in counterfeit $100 bills. The suspects, a 23-year-old Grand Rapids man, and a 39-year-old Hudsonville man, were arrested earlier this week on charges of possession of counterfeiting tools and uttering and publishing counterfeit money.
