Bremen's Luke Kincaid is triple event winner at Plymouth boys track IHSAA Sectional
Bremen junior Luke Kincaid was a triple-event winner and led the Lions to a runnerup team finish at the Plymouth IHSAA Boys Track and Field Sectional Thursday night. Kincaid won the 800-meter race (2:03.61), the 1,600 (4:31.01) and anchored Bremen's winning 4x800 relay team (8:25.14). The other three members of that squad are Dylan Goff, Matthew Urbina and Hudson Fox.
Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ presents All Things Bright & Beautiful
The Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ hosted its All Things Bright & Beautiful concert at the Ancilla Domini Chapel in Plymouth on Saturday, May 4. The duo of Soprano Jessica McCormack and Tenor JR Fralick enlightened the chapel with their performance of solos and duets. They were backed by Director of Liturgy and Music Andrew Jennings, who emphasized the importance of sharing this music with others, particularly in a spiritual context. Together, they filled the chapel with a wonderful array of sounds for all to enjoy.

Plymouth's Sophie Wray is triple event winner at Bremen girls track sectional
Plymouth senior Sophie Wray was a triple winner and qualified for the Kokomo Regional in four events Tuesday night at the IHSAA Girls Track & Field Bremen Sectional. Wray won the 1,600-meter run (5 minutes, 11.61 seconds), the 800 (2:23.39) and the 3,200 (11:34.18) and was a member of Plymouth's third-place 4x800 relay team. The top three finishers in each event move on to regional.
Baseball Game Preview: Pioneer Leaves Home
Pioneer and North Judson-San Pierre are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. Car Crashes into Arby’s Restaurant in Plymouth
The Plymouth Police Department is investigating an accident that occurred Friday, May 17 around 11:30 a.m. ET when a vehicle crashed into the Arby’s Restaurant in Plymouth. Police say a 2024 Suburu Legacy with two occupants from Fort Wayne crashed into the building. The occupants told police that they were not injured, but officers learned a man sitting at a table eating his lunch was struck by the vehicle when it entered the building, according to the report.
Traffic Stops Result in Arrests
Two separate traffic stops conducted by officers from the Plymouth Police Department resulted in the arrest of the drivers. An officer initiated a traffic stop Thursday, May 16 at 4:10 a.m. ET for an equipment violation near the intersection of Michigan and North Streets. Police say the driver, 37-year-old Elbin Colindres-Hernandez, of Plymouth, was determined to have never obtained a driver’s license and was taken into custody. Colindres-Hernandez was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of operator never licensed.
