PETERSBURG, Wv. (WHSV) - As of May 9, more than 55,000 ballots were cast in the 2024 primary in the Mountain State. Election Clerk in Grant County, JoAnn Harper said early voter turnout in the county was lower than what she was expecting. She said 976 people voted early in Grant County.
