ATKINSON, N.H. — The New Hampshire Board of Medicine has issued a cease and desist order against the woman behind a controversial "diaper spa" in Atkinson. Board members ordered Colleen Murphy to stop advertising herself as practicing medicine in New Hampshire, as being qualified to practice medicine in New Hampshire and/or calling herself a New Hampshire physician. Further, the board "may maintain an action to enjoin" Murphy from continuing to do "acts of unlawful practice."

Police arrest Valley Patriot publisher for violating restraining order
METHUEN — Thomas Duggan, owner and publisher of the Valley Patriot, was arrested over the weekend for the violation of a restraining order. Duggan, of North Andover, was charged Saturday night around midnight for violating an abuse protection order issued against him April 2. Following his arrest, Duggan remained in custody over the weekend, according to the Methuen Police Department. The circumstances surrounding why the order was put in place are unclear at this time.
