Red Carpet Tavern, a Dayton bar known for its karaoke, is for sale
The Red Carpet Tavern has announced on its Facebook page that the bar is for sale. “It’s with a heavy heart that we’ve decided to list the Red Carpet Tavern for sale,” the May 24 Facebook post stated. “We’ve had a few inquires already to the purchasing options and hope someone who loves it comes forward to claim this iconic neighborhood bar.”

Showers and thunderstorms this weekend, when will the weather calm down?
A warm Saturday on tap as we get into the lower 80s by the afternoon hours. We will also see the chance for a few storms (mainly before 3 PM), with intermittent clouds. Tonight will be a dry one with mostly clear skies with lows right around 60 degrees. The Miami Valley will stay dry early on Sunday, but there is a chance going through the afternoon of some isolated damaging winds and hail, and another round of storms around 10 PM that will bring another chance of damaging winds and hail, with a non-zero chance of a tornado. Highs will be in the mid 80s. Showers will continue into Memorial Day with a big cooldown beginning with highs in the 70s, which will last through the work week.
