OHP Trooper involved shooting
At approximately 8:22 Wednesday morning, September 20 an OHP trooper conducted a traffic stop on the Turner Turnpike eastbound at mile marker 183 in Creek County. The trooper requested assistance with a K-9 deployment. A physical struggle ensued roadside and continued into the cab of the truck. The driver attempted to drive away with the trooper still engaged in a physical confrontation with him. At approximately 8:35, the trooper advised the communications center shots had been fired.

Sand Springs Animal Welfare starts using sound therapy app 'Zoundz' for animals
SAND SPRINGS, Okla. — Sand Springs Animal Welfare announced they recently started providing sound therapy to mentally prepare pets for adoption through an app called Zoundz. "Sand Springs Animal Welfare is committed to protecting citizens and their pets by investigating animal bites, stray cats and dogs, animal nuisances, aggressive or dangerous dogs, as well as animal neglect, abandonment, and cruelty cases," according to their website linked HERE.
