Harrisonburg Police warning citizens about Cryptocurrency scams
HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Police Department are reporting they have received multiple calls about scams involving Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. HPD said these scammers will ask for Bitcoin as payment for things such as fixing a virus on your computer or cell phone, deleting your personal information from illegal websites, or even claiming to be an incarcerated family member who needs money.
