Kona man charged in connection to reported robbery on Ali‘i Drive
A 21-year-old man facing robbery and assault charges in connection to an early-morning incident in Kona bailed out of jail and is awaiting his first court appearance. Peter Melling, of Kailua-Kona, was initially arrested Friday on suspicion of a robbery and assault that occurred Thursday morning at a shopping center, located on the 75-5800 block of Ali‘i Drive.
