Yankton jail inmate escapes treatment center
YANKTON, S.D. (KTIV) - The Yankton County Sheriff’s office is notifying the public of a man that escaped the Human Services Center. Wade Scott Heth, a 35-year-old from Wagner, South Dakota was out on furlough from the county jail for chemical dependency and was being held at the Human Services Center. According to a Facebook post made by the sheriff’s office, Heth is 5-foot-10 and around 180 pounds.

WAGNER, S.D. (KELO) — A Wagner woman has been identified as the person who died in a two-vehicle crash Friday night, May 3, according to the SD Department of Public Safety. Elaine Schroeder, 89, died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash two miles east of Wagner.

WAGNER, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Department of Public Safety reported that an 89-year-old woman has died following a two-vehicle crash on Friday night near Wagner. Around 5:30 p.m., a 2012 Dodge Ram was traveling east on SD Highway 46 near mile marker 292. At the same time, a 2013 Ford Edge was traveling east on the same road and was preparing to turn into a driveway.
