Berglund was traveling east on Highway 27 when she collided with a semi truck, which had been traveling south on Highway 65, the crash report states.

A 16-year-old passenger in Berglund's vehicle was taken to Children's Hospital in Minneapolis with life-threatening injuries.

The driver and a passenger of the Peterbilt truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash and all involved were wearing seat belts, according to the State Patrol.
