Sheriff’s Report: Park City teenager arrested for drunk driving, other charges
An 18-year-old Parkite was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol over the weekend. Summit County deputies stopped the man on Sunday night for speeding on S.R. 224, according to a shift report from the Sheriff’s Office. The speed limit on the roadway is 45 mph, but vehicles often reach speeds upwards of 55 mph. Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Felicia Sotelo was unable to verify how fast the man was driving.
Park Silly Sunday Market calls for volunteers

It was sunshine and all smiles for the Miners boys lacrosse squad Thursday night, defeating Sky View 7-1 to open the playoffs. The win pleased the Miners football-esque crowd at Dozier Field, who will get another chance to see their squad in action Saturday for Park City’s next game against East. The team earned the chance to host their second round and quarterfinal games as the playoffs third seed. The Miners went 12-4 during the regular season, with a marquee May 8 overtime win over playoff one seed Brighton.
