Three injured in collision on Brush Grove Road
A two-vehicle collision on Brush Grove Road sent three individuals to hospitals. According to reports from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, May 21, a 17-year-old male from Willisburg crossed into the oncoming lane hitting another vehicle head on. The second vehicle was driven by Andrew Villanueva of Lebanon.

Lady Titans Advance To Next Round Of Playoffs
The Mercer County Lady Titans (15-9) faced the Casey County Lady Rebels (20-15) in the 12th Region softball tournament opening round on Tuesday, May 28, in Harrodsburg. Mercer, now the third-ranked team in the 12th Region according to KHSAA RPI, earned their second win of the season when they defeated Casey 4-3 on Mar. 19, and earned a second win over the Lady Rebels in much swifter fashion, 10-4, on Apr. 18.
