Two teenagers survive a 536-foot rollover crash Saturday.

Joplin, MO – Two teens were injured in a rollover crash that sent the car flying more than five hundred feet Saturday morning. The accident happened on Jaguar Road south of Joplin. Authorities say a southbound vehicle left the road and overturned several times throughout 536 feet. The two teens inside both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Independence, KS – Firefighters in Independence, Kansas battled a house fire Saturday evening. When firefighters arrived, they found the back of the home and a detached garage engulfed in flames. No residents were hurt but one firefighter was injured while battling the blaze.

Joplin, MO – April is child abuse prevention month and the Children's Center of Southwest Missouri hosted a party in the park. The purpose of the party was to raise awareness and learn what the community can do to protect local children. It included resources from more than ten area organizations.
