Burlington, VT- A Colchester man pleaded not guilty to several charges after police say he threatened them with a hammer following a police chase in Burlington on Wednesday. Thomas Burke, 41, from Colchester, is being held without bail at Northwest State Correctional on charges of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, and eluding police.

Spectrum youth shelter opens year-round
