Colchester officializes Malletts Bay Sewer funding plan, warns public of construction
COLCHESTER — The selectboard approved the funding plan for the Malletts Bay Sewer Project at its meeting Tuesday night, as proposed by town attorney Brian Monaghan. The agreement, dubbed the Wastewater System Revenue General Bond Resolution for the Malletts Bay Sewer Project, was also recommended by Bryan Osborne, director of public works.

Stowe Country Club, ranked by Golfweek’s Best as the No. 1 public-access course in Vermont, is slated to undergo a two-year renovation by golf architect Beau Welling. BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - The city of Burlington will go without a racial equity director as part of an effort to close a $13-million budget gap. Mayor Emma Mulvaney-Stanak’s first weeks in office have been dedicated to closing a $13 million budget gap. The city will not be filling 22 vacant positions, including two-thirds Racial Equity Inclusion and Belonging Department. That includes the director, Kim Carson, whose last day was on Friday. It amounts to savings of about $1.4 million.
