Severe weather tears through the Ozarks
A severe weather front brought dangerous conditions to the area bringing with it hail, thunderstorms, flash flooding and tornadic activity. Residents in Crane were warned by the sounds of the tornado sirens in the late afternoon just before 5 p.m. to take cover. The storms tore through the central and southeast United States on Wednesday. A Tornado Warning was issued until 5:15 p.m. by the National Weather Service Springfield MO.
