Mid-States Corridor Tier 2 Study to begin; initial work to focus on Dubois Co. area
JASPER — The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has given the Mid-States Corridor Project Team notice to proceed with the first Tier 2 Study. Work will begin in the Dubois County area to determine the alignment and access plan for the new highway. The Tier 2 Study will evaluate more site-specific impacts to determine the specific preferred location and right-of-way needs of a 200-to-500-foot-wide facility.
Street Milling & Paving on 2d Street
The Jasper Street Department and CalCar Paving Company will be asphalt milling Gregory Lane on Friday, July 26th, 2024. On Monday, July 29th, 2024 asphalt milling will occur on 2nd Street between Truman Road and Lechner Lane. Paving of these streets will occur following milling and patching of the streets. This work may continue through Thursday, August 1st, 2024. Please do not park on these streets during construction dates. Motorists will have access to these streets during construction but should expect delays. This schedule is subject to weather conditions and any unforeseen problems.
