Everett Pietila had a hand in all three goals for the Wisconsin Windigo as they finished a sweep of a North American Hockey League playoff series against the Janesville Jets with a 3-1 win Friday night at the Janesville Ice Arena.

The Windigo gave themselves the early advantage with a power-play goal from Maxwell Martin at 1:34 of the first period. Pietila had one of the assists on Wisconsin’s opener, and he scored his team’s second goal about halfway through the first.

Will Schumacher put the Windigo up 3-0 early in the second period with Pietila picking up another assist.

Janesville’s Conner Brown scored on a power play at 13:35 of the second, but they couldn’t get any closer.

Windigo goaltender Max Beckford won for the third time in the series, making 27 saves. Matthew Alberti’s stellar season in goal came to an end with an 18-save effort.
