Seaport to Host Historic 100th Stop of Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series
World’s Best Cliff Divers Return to Boston for the only U.S. Stop in Global Spectacle’s 15th Season. Boston, MA (May 8, 2024) – The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series reaches a monumental milestone as it makes its third consecutive return to the Boston Harbor, marking its 100th event since the inception of the series in 2009. The practice round will take place on Friday, June 7th starting at 12:00p until 4:00p. On Saturday, June 8th from noon until 4p, the adrenaline-fueled diving competition will captivate Bostonians atop the rooftop of the iconic Institute of Contemporary Art Boston (ICA) in the vibrant Seaport neighborhood, serving as the second stop of the series.
TD Garden slips rescheduled Tim McGraw concert in between Boston Bruins, Celtics playoff games
BOSTON — Country music star Tim McGraw is playing at TD Garden on Wednesday night, two days before he was originally scheduled to perform in Boston. The concert, part of his "Standing Room Only" tour was originally scheduled for Friday but was bumped so the Boston Bruins can play a home game against the Florida Panthers in round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Documents released April 19 from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs detail a plan for “Preclearing Excavation Work” at the 124-year-old Matthews Arena which, for the past several years, has seen increasing signs of structural issues. These plans include the removal of soil, chemicals and parts of previous building foundations.
