Suspected Shoplifter Arrested After Collision With Police Car in Brentwood
In a caper that seemed to end as quickly as it began, a known shoplifter's dash for freedom took a thwarting turn in Brentwood. Officials reported that around 8:30 PM on April 30th, Brentwood police responded to a call from Michael’s Arts and Crafts about a theft in progress. The suspect was identified as Mathew Davis, a 32-year-old from Antioch who authorities claim stole roughly $1,400 worth of goods.
