Mountain Home seeks grant for new walking trail from Hickory Park to Baxter Health
A new walking trail might be coming to Mountain Home. During the city’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Thursday, Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams announced that the city was seeking permission to apply for a federal grant from the Recreational Trails Program to create a new walking path within the city.
Tony’s Place in Nixa reopens after family tragedy
NIXA, Mo. (KY3) - A family restaurant in Nixa reopened after a tragedy closed the doors for weeks. Tony’s Place closed after a house explosion killed four members of Tony’s family in neighboring Douglas County. Investigators say a propane leak caused the May 18 explosion in Goodhope. The blast killed Tony’s brother and his family.
Herd retires after 31 years of teaching in Ozark County schools
