Panthers dominate the district
The Forsyth Panthers and Lady Panthers have wrapped up another busy year packed with athletic achievements and tournament trophies. The Forsyth Panther Baseball pounced on their competition all season to compete in the District Championship where they faced off against the Fair Grove Eagles. The Panthers defeated Fair Grove 7-1 to secure the District Championship and advance to State Tournaments. Leading the Panthers to victory was Tristan Hunter who had an impressive 17 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work.

Hello, Mountain Home. It’s Memorial Day Weekend and that means its time to stop and reflect on those who served our nation and are no longer with us. As per tradition, Mountain Home’s many service member related organizations will be hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday. I highly encourage everyone to come out and listen to this year’s speaker.
Bakersfield Lions are district champs
The Bakersfield Lions baseball team took the class 2 district 10 championship title May 15 after beating Mansfield 8-5 in the final district game of the night. The Lions also beat out the Gainesville Bulldogs 5-3 in the district semi-final game.
