Names released in fatal Stanley County crash
FORT PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) — A man has been identified as a victim in a two-vehicle crash that happened Friday, April 12, two miles west of Fort Pierre. Lawrence Woodward, 81, of Dupree was driving his Chevrolet Silverado on US Hwy. 14 on Friday, April 12, at about 3:38 p.m. when his vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane, according to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety. The driver of a Dodge Ram was in the oncoming lane and attempted to swerve to avoid the Silverado but was unable to. Both vehicles collided on the passenger side of each truck.

An outdoorsman and oil painter, Tim describes himself as a lover of strong coffee, witty puns, and well-crafted storytelling. He and his wife, Stephanie Arne of Pierre, currently live with their dogs, cats, and innumerable plants in Sioux Falls.
